My name is Tom, and I run Tom Buys Junk Cars. This is a business I built from the ground up, and I’m proud of how far it’s come. I come from a working-class background and have spent most of my life around vehicles. I didn’t go to business school and I don’t wear a suit to work. I learned what I know by doing the job – hands-on, rain or shine, one junk car at a time. I’ve worked in junkyards, pulled parts in the summer heat, towed dead cars out of tight spots, and spent more weekends than I can count with grease on my hands. Over the years, I got to know this business from the inside out, and I saw a real need for a company that treats regular people fairly when they’re ready to sell a junk car.
Tom Buys Junk Cars started as a local side hustle. I had a truck, a phone, and a little extra space out back to store vehicles. People in town started calling me when they had a car they didn’t want, and I’d show up, give them a fair price, and haul it away. Word got around. Folks appreciated that I didn’t mess them around with hidden fees or lowball offers. I was just straightforward, showed up when I said I would, and paid in cash.
From there, things grew. One town turned into a few towns. Then I started helping people across the state. Before long, I had friends and contacts across the country who could help pick up vehicles just like I was doing at home. Now we serve the entire United States, but we still run things with the same values we started with.

We’ll give you a quote, and if you like it, we’ll send someone to pick it up, usually the same day. We pay in cash whenever we can and always offer free towing. You don’t have to worry about paperwork or having a perfect title. If you’re missing something, we’ll walk you through what you need and help you sort it out.
